Paint and Learn - Abstract Art Edition
Join Professional Artists Morgan and Shari for an in-person painting session where creativity meets fun! Explore the world of abstract art as you learn to implement interesting techniques, experimenting with style, texture, and color. Students will learn to depart from traditional representation by balancing spontaneity and intention. By the end of the class, students will have their own original artwork and will have gained the skills and confidence to keep creating beyond class.

Additional Information
We'll provide latex and acrylic paints, paper, an 11x14 canvas, a set of 10 brushes you'll be able to take home and use in the future, and a bunch of cool and weird objects you can utilize to scrape and drag across the paint for variety! If you have your life’s favorite paintbrush or a cool found item you want to stamp into your abstract art feel free to bring it with you. (Things can get jumbled on the table so we recommend labeling your items with your name before arriving if you bring items.)
