Name that Bird!

Are you curious about the birds you see around you while out hiking, at a park, or in your yard? This indoor class — created and taught by Denver Audubon volunteer Jason Zolle—will help you develop your bird identification skills using tools like the Merlin Bird ID app and The Sibley Guide to Birds.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Describe key field marks such as color, pattern, and shape

  • Compare similar species and understand variation by age, sex, and season

  • Match what you see in the field to your guide or app with confidence
