Marmot Fest

Marmots are plentiful at Staunton State Park, and ready to be outside after a long winter, so June is the perfect time to see the pups and marmot families playing and basking in the sun at Staunton!  This year we are celebrating marmots with a fun-filled two day carnival, which includes prizes, popcorn, hotdogs, and fun games. Join us June 27 & 28th from 10AM–3PM for two fun-filled days of food, games, rock climbing (gear & instruction included) and more! The park's recreational offerings include multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, stream and pond fishing, and picnicking!

PLEASE NOTE: You need a State Parks Pass to enter the park. If you already have one, there's no additional cost! Daily vehicle pass is $10-15
