Lowry Beer Garden Walking Tour

Join the Denver Architecture Foundation for a tour of Lowry Beer Garden in the heart of the historic Lowry neighborhood. Once part of the former Lowry Air Force Base, the beer garden sits between two iconic 1939 Air Force hangars, converting Denver’s aviation past into a current community gathering space. One hangar now houses the renowned Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, and the adjacent “Hangar 2” features offices, retail, and commercial spaces.  Throughout the project, the developers incorporated design details from the site’s military and industrial heritage as backdrop to highlight local food and craft brewing. Tour Guide Joe Vostrejs, principal at City Street Investors, will lead the tour and answer questions. Save time to imbibe in a beer or dinner after the walk!
