Horticulturist Tour of the Big Gardens at Washington Park

Washington Park, located in southeast Denver, is home to two of the city's largest and most famous floral displays. Spanning 165 acres, the park serves as a stunning urban oasis where visitors can walk through expansive, vibrant floral landscapes. The park's grounds feature two distinct garden areas, each offering a unique visual experience:
  • The Big Garden: Established in 1917, this sprawling, 3-acre Victorian-style perennial garden contains 54 flower beds and over 15,000 flower varieties. Located on the west side of the park, it features a beautiful elliptical lawn and symmetrical floral arrangements
