Colorado Hummingbird Sanctuary Meetup

Experience the joy of hummingbirds zipping, hovering, and feeding all around you, with private access to an observation deck and 2-miles of Colorado nature trails! Observe the three different species of hummingbirds that visit the sanctuary, darting through the trees, hovering near guests, and feeding throughout the property. Many visitors describe the experience as magical, calming, and unlike anything they’ve experienced. Along with being a memorable gathering with new 2nd Summit friends, it's also a great opportunity for photographers and nature lovers!

Unlike a zoo or public garden, this is a private, lived-in sanctuary where the birds have become comfortable around people through consistent, respectful interaction and habitat stewardship. CHS is a certified wildlife habitat with the National Wildlife Federation.
