One of today’s premier guitarists, Ito is acclaimed by musicians, composers, conductors, and critics for his mastery of the instrument and its repertoire. His program features highlights from Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s towering masterpiece, Suite Platero y Yo, Op. 190, based on poetic sketches written by Juan Ramón Jiménez.
Performances at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.
