An Idiot’s Guide to Wine

An Idiot’s Guide to Wine is a 70-minute interactive event in Aurora, CO that combines comedy and wine tasting. Guests sample six unique wines from around the world while enjoying a stand-up comedy show written and performed by Merrick Watts, a comedian with a rare WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Level 3 wine qualification. Designed to be both entertaining and educational, the experience blends humor with a guided tasting suitable for both beginners and wine enthusiasts.

Held at The Local Drive in Aurora, the event is for ages 21+ and offers optional non-alcoholic drinks for an additional fee. It’s ADA accessible and runs in English. Guests are asked not to record the performance.
