The Furry Scurry is a fun-filled festival and two-mile dog walk to benefit the animals at Humane Colorado. Every step you take and dollar you raise will make a lasting difference for the animals in our care. Can’t join us in person? Our Friends from Afar option lets you support animals from anywhere. To celebrate our 33rd year, we’re offering a range of amazing activities we know you’ll love – from contests to food trucks. Furry Scurry registration fees and donations transform the lives of vulnerable pets and horses across Colorado. We provide high-quality care to more than 44,000 animals each year, with most of our funding coming from generous supporters like you. Fundraisers like the Furry Scurry are essential for Humane Colorado to continue our shelter, rehabilitation, veterinary, and community services for the animals and people who need us most.
